Virginia Palmieri, 80, of Brick, passed away Friday, June 12th, at Ocean Medical Center. Virginia was born in Lynn, MA on May 19, 1940, a daughter of the late Virginia and John Palmquist. She was raised in Massachusetts and moved to Wall in the 70's . She retired to the Brick area in 1994 and most recently moved in with her daughter in 2016. Ginny was the office manager at Reed's Heating & Cooling in Shrewsbury for several years. Prior to that, she worked at Brown's Heating & Cooling, also in Shrewsbury. Ginny was a strong and independent woman who could be friends with just about anyone, and was . She was kind, caring, thoughtful, and an all around wonderful woman who would give you the shirt off her back . She raised her daughter Jodi mainly herself and did anything and everything she could for her through the years . She helped raise her grandchildren while her daughter and son in law went to work as well. She loved to spoil them, take them out for ice cream and treats, play cards or board games with them , cook with and for them especially all their favorites foods as well as teach them crafts. While she was well, she enjoyed meeting up with her friends for girls lunches and trips to Atlantic City. She looked forward to warmer weather so she could spend time outdoors by the pool which she enjoyed with her family. In her quiet time, Ginny enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash or Elvis, knitting, drawing and making things for her friends and family. Everyone knew her as "Nana" and she will be greatly missed.
Virginia is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Daniel Kreppel. She also leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Beverly Palmquist and 3 beloved grandchildren; Kayla, Daniel , and Patrick . Ginny was predeceased by her longtime companion, James Wilson.
