Obituary

Stephen Nager, 80, of Morganville, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, unexpectedly after a tragic car accident. Stephen was born in Bronx, NY on September 10, 1942. He was raised in New York, but lived most of his life in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Steve proudly served his country in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Steve was a business entrepreneur. He owned several businesses in Monmouth County over the years. After retiring, he worked for Bath Fitter part time, so he had something to do.

Steve was an avid sports fan and a diehard Yankees and Knicks fan! His other love was dancing. He loved to go out to clubs where he could dance. He enjoyed going out to eat and socializing. Steve was always up for meeting and talking to new people, always the businessman and networking.

Stephen was predeceased by his wife, Ronnie George and his brother Herbert Nager. He is survived by his two stepsons: Damien George and Adam George, along with his two children Ryan and Elizabeth George.

It was Stephen's wishes for a private cremation and his ashes will be buried at the Brig. Gen. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in the Spring.
