Obituary

Nicholas  Del Grosso, 74, of Middletown, peacefully passed away Thursday, August 19th. Nicholas was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, a son of the late Maryjane and Donato  Del Grosso. He and his family settled in Middletown in 1992. Nick was a tile contractor in the New York metropolitan area for many years.
He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was proud that he had classified clearance and worked on the SR71, the Black Stealth Fighter Jet.
Nick was a true family man. Everything he did, he did with his family. He enjoyed family vacations, playing pinochle or board games, trips to Atlantic City and fishing with his brother-in-law. Nick was famous for his Dad jokes! He was an avid Yankees fan, but enjoyed watching all sports on tv (except for golf!) Nick loved animals and was a big supporter of the ASPCA. His beloved dog and faithful companion, Sadie will surely miss him.
Nicholas is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years,  Elizabeth Del Grosso along with their two children and their husbands; Nicholas and James Del Grosso of Virginia and Nicole and Bill Connors of Middletown. He also leaves behind a sister, Candy Del Grosso, of Wisconsin and two beloved grandsons, Joey and Chris.
