Marie T. (Luck) Reynolds

Marie Reynolds of Atlantic Highlands left us of natural causes on February 22, 2021. She was 91 years young. She resided in Atlantic Highlands for more than 31 years. Marie was born at Englewood Hospital in Bergan County and spent her childhood enjoying life on Meadowbrook Farms in Norwood, NJ. She loved being outdoors and playing with her many pets including a female sheep named baby.

Marie was a graduate of Adelphi College for women where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching. She was a primary school teacher in Norwood, NJ for several years when she met her husband Joe Reynolds. Marie and Joe were married for 55 years and raised two children. The family enjoyed spending time along the shore in Long Beach Island or hiking in the mountains of New York State. 

Marie loved nature. She was an avid birdwatcher, gardener and walker among the birds, butterflies and flowers. Marie was the best mother a child could have. She was always full of love. She was devoted to the care and wellness of her family, and always had a smile on her face. She is survived by her two children Jane and Joe, and by the many people who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
