Carole A. Kurzawa, 90, of Middletown, passed away Friday, January 5th, at home with her family by her side. Carole was born in East Orange, New Jersey on July 31, 1933, a daughter of the late Margaret and Roy Sievewright. She was raised in Kearny and eventually settled in Port Monmouth to raise her family. In 1995, she moved to Cedar Park, Texas. After 21 years, she returned home to New Jersey to be closer to her children.
Carole was a member of Calvary Chapel and a bus driver at Murphy Bus Company for many years. Carole was an avid gardener. She enjoyed nurturing plants and took great pride in her flowers. She could also often be found engrossed in a good book. In her younger years, Carole belonged to a bowling league and looked forward to nights out with her friends. Carole will be fondly remembered a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Carole was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Kurzawa, last year. She was also predeceased by her brother Roy "Buddy" Sievewright.
Carole is survived by her three children; daughters, Catherine Belfiore and Peggy (Tom) Pennello, and a son, William (Cindy) Rice. She also leaves behind three sisters; Margaret Jean Paulson, Diane Polukord, Marilyn Malcom, and a brother, George Sievewright along with 6 grandchildren; Stacey, Brian, Jillian, Erica, Samantha, and Tara and 6 great grandchildren
