Antoinette L. Daily, 68, of Hazlet, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at home on Thursday, November 24th. Antoinette was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 17, 1954, a daughter of the late Louise and Anthony Dateo. They moved to Long Branch when Antoinette was in her teens.
She left school to join her parents, Louise and stepfather Elmer Santana, to tour the country with Ringling Brothers Circus where she was a show girl and rode elephants. As an adult she settled in Eatontown. She worked the counter at the Panera in Shrewsbury and the Dunkin Donuts in W. Long Branch. When she was not working, Antoinette loved being outside, especially at the beach or kayaking. Antoinette and her family travelled up and down the East coast, camping from Maine to Florida. She and her husband Keith lived in Port Orange, Florida for 8 years before his passing. After that, Antoinette returned to New Jersey to be with her daughter.
Antoinette was predeceased by her husband William "Keith" Daily last year. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Alan Stuhl along with two granddaughters; Heidi and Layla, all of Hazlet. She also leaves behind two stepchildren; Lee Daily and April Daily; step grandchildren Marley and Everly and many dear friends.
