Nicholas Sciorsci Obituary

Nicholas Albert Sciorsci, born February 20, 1945, passed April, 11, 2020, peacefully at his home, in Atlantic Highlands.  Son of Ada and Mario Sciorsci, of Hoboken, NJ, Nick is survived by his dear companion, Florence VanExter, along with his much beloved sisters, Lucia Sciorsci; and Emma Sciorsci DeGiralamo and brother-in-law Peter DeGiralamo; his three dear sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Mario Sciorsci and Debra Quigley; Nicholas Edward Sciorsci and Jacqueline Sciorsci; and Adam Quattro Sciorsci and Alisandra Tobia.  He was predeceased by his parents, as well as his dearest confidants, wife Susan Sciorsci and son, David Gerard Sciorsci.

Also survived by Nick are his grandchildren, Korinne and Matthew Sciorsci; Nicole Sciorsci; and Julian Lena, Jake Lena, and Sophia Lena; as well as his nephews and nieces,
David DeGiralamo and Daniel Allen; Peter and Krishna DeGiralamo; Michael and Lindsay Lombard.

Nick spent most of his professional life in the auto industry, and was the owner and
dealer principal of two prominent car dealerships in New Jersey, Nicholas Imports in Morristown and North Hudson Dodge in West New York.

He was an avid sports fan, with his passion dedicated to the Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks and Columbia University football. He loved music, both classical symphonies and
classic rock.  He was unequaled in the kitchen, preparing gourmet meals for family, friends, and dozens of neighbors. Above all, Nick sought out all that made life worth living. Proud until the very end, Nick exits this life with a watchful eye over those he loves, and eager to welcome them across the plane in this life.

Due to ongoing circumstances, there will be no viewing, and Nick’s funeral mass will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Nick asks that friends and family please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
