We are sad to announce that on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 soon after 3:00pm we had to say goodbye to Jane T. Reynolds of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. Jane was taken away from us far too soon due to her courageous and arduous battle with GBM brain cancer, which was diagnosed in July 2019.
Jane was born on March 17, 1960, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Luck) Reynolds.
Jane was a loving, compassionate, and devoted daughter, a best friend and supporter to her younger brother Joe, and a caring, kind, and sympathetic friend to the many people that knew her and loved her affectionate smile.
Jane loved to help people, especially children as a public librarian in Atlantic Highlands and as an Instructional Aide at the Atlantic Highlands Elementary School. Jane was also a volunteer with Literacy Volunteers of America, Head Start, Lunch Break, and the New York Metropolitan Committee for UNICEF.
Jane was passionate about the arts and took courses at the Parsons School of Design in New York City where she broadened her drawing and photography skills. She also treasured her time outdoors and loved hiking, biking, the beach, and going camping in upstate New York and New England. One of her happiest moments in life was hiking to the top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph Reynolds II.
There will be no public service or viewing. You can send your sympathy and memories on the Tribute Wall provided below and share it with friends.
